November 2021 release

Here are the updates and improvements we shipped in early November 2021:

General

• We made the profile image smaller to enable better use of space across multiple screens
• We tidied up the charts and went full width in other areas, which are most noticeable on the mobile app.
• We got rid of the drop-downs and replaced them with buttons (see below), a win for ease of use and making it easier to find our extra views of your data.
• Putt lengths are now shown in feet rather than yards in all views (we refer you below to the 199 Shot Quality monster from our own David Ford).

• Also new in the Scorecard View is the Penalty visual and better handling of the penalty data, which means more punishment (in terms of Shot Quality score) for the shot that caused the penalty.

Off the Tee (OTT):

• OTT Shot Quality, Last 5 rounds > now, when you click on the bar representing an individual tee shot, the Tool Tip (below) shows whether you missed fairway left or right (if we have that information).

• OTT Distance By Club > click on the bar and the total number of shots by club is now shown to add context
• Your OTT DNA > this is now represented as a Radar Chart for consistency with other drilldown options (see below)

Approach (APP):

• APP Shot Quality, Last 5 Rounds > Proximity (%) > we capped the height of bars at 30% in order to better show the all-important area showing shots ending within 5% of total shot distance.

• APP Shot Quality Zones > we replaced the dropdown with buttons, again to make the information more accessible.

Around the Green (ARG):

• Performance > ARG > Latest round > We adjusted the card to better show the three lies – Fairway, Rough, Sand (see below) – and include the number of shots taken from each.

• ARG Shot Quality, Last 5 Rounds > Proximity (ft) > the shaded area represents shots that finished inside the the 6ft Conversion Zone. The dotted line represents your average and as with Approach, we’ve put a limit on the height of the bars to better show the all important shaded 6ft Conversion Zone area.
