Congrats to England’s Marco Penge, who has recently joined the Clippd Beta Group, for his 4th place finish in his first Challenge Tour event of the season. Marco, who has been out of the game for seven months with a knee injury, shot 65, 71, 63, 70 to finish 19 under par at the SDC Open in South Africa, two shots off the winning total – a great start to a stretch of tournaments in the weeks ahead.

England’s Josh Hilleard also got his Challenge Tour campaign off to a solid start with a T44. In round two, Josh fired a 64, joint second lowest round of the tournament, before closing with a 68.

A shout out to the Georgia Tech Men’s Team, which finished T6 at The Goodwin, the prestigious 28-team collegiate event played at Stanford Golf Course in California. Christo Lamprecht ended T6 on 7 under par after rounds of 68, 67, 68, a fourth top-10 in 8 events of the 2021/22 season for the tall South African. Bartley Forrester was T15, two shots further back.

The Little Rock Trojans finished alongside Georgia Tech in T6, with Marcus Lomholt ending on four over par. The University of Colorado came in 14th, with the Buffs’ Kristoffer Max shooting an even par 210 to finish T40.

In the Sun Belt Conference, the University of Louisiana Monroe Women’s Team recorded their fourth straight top-5 finish at the Bama Beach Bash. Alessia Mengoni was T8, including a 2 under par 70 in the final round, a score nobody bettered in bad weather. This was Alessia’s fourth top-10 of the 2021/22 season. Chantal Dueringer recorded her fifth top-20 of the campaign to finish in 15th place. Line Petersen joined Clippd’s 200 Club with a hole-out eagle three in the third round.

Following on from Bama Beach, Chantal and Line were the Warhawks' top performers in the Georgia State Spring Invitational at Rivermont Golf Club, finishing T30 in the 54-hole event.

The University of Kansas Women’s Team finished 14th at the Clemson Invitational, held at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. This followed a 4th place in the Wisconsin Westbrook Invitational in Arizona and an 8th at the Briar’s Creek Invitational in South Carolina. In the latter, freshman Jordan Rothman finished 27th, closing with a 72, with teammate ‘Pear’ Pooratanoapa seven shots further back.

In the Oregon Duck Invitational, Jack Rahon of Seattle University's Men's Team was the leading member of the Redhawks team, finishing T19 after rounds of 69, 73, 76, while Nathan Cogswell was T35, five shots further back.

In the European Nations Cup, better known as the Sherry Cup, England are represented at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande in Spain this week by a four-man team, including two players on the Clippd platform: Sam Bairstow and Olly Huggins.

In France, Emily Slater begins her season on the Ladies European Tour Access Series at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open.

Well done to everyone and best of luck for the week ahead.
