Hey all, there have been some great performances from members of the Clippd Community in recent weeks. Here's a round-up of some of the best.
First up is Lily May Humphries who recorded a fine T-20 on the Ladies European Tour in the Jabra Ladies Open at the picturesque Evian Resort Golf Club. Brilliant playing Lily!
Next we have Jonathan "Jigger" Thompson who had a fantastic week in Cadiz, Spain on the Challenge Tour. Rounds of 73, 71, 73 and 69 left him in T-7 in the the Challenge de Espana. Also playing was Marco Penge who added to his strong start to the season with a T-48. Well played gents!
Georgia Tech's men's team made it through to the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a T-1 in the NCAA Regionals. Ross Steelman, Benjamin Reuter and Connor Howe all finished in the top-10 individuals. Everyone at Clippd wishes the team all the best in the finals!
In the Brabazon Trophy, held at Saunton Golf Club in Devon, England, Sam Bairstow finished in 4th and Olly Huggins was T-10. The Brabazon Trophy is the English Men's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and boasts an extremely strong field. Well done chaps!
The Mena Tour's 2020 season Journey to Jordan finally came to a close 837 days after it began (due to the pandemic). Tom Sloman took home the title with fellow Englishman and fellow Clippd user David Langley finished in 2nd place. Congrats to both.
Michael Bullen put in a strong showing on the Clutch Pro Tour event held at Old Ford Manor, finishing T2 after rounds of 69 and 68. Great to see Michael!
Finally, a doff of the visor to one of Clippd's first three users, Neil James, who played in the Devon Men's County Championship at Saunton Golf Club in the week before the Brabazon. An opening round of 64 set the tone and Neil made it all the way to the final before going down at the final hurdle. Great work Neil and thanks for all your input into Clippd.
