Thank you for the reply. I think that if I send an invite link to a player and he uses that to sign up, that should auto magically make him one of my players. Otherwise, is there any reason to send the invite link?

The referral link works as a way for you to be rewarded for each player you refer as well as being a quick way for someone to get started with Clippd.
We decided to not automatically include people into Teams as some of our coaches had told us they would prefer to post their referral link on WhatsApp groups, mail lists etc, which could then have a number of people appearing in their team they they didn't necessarily want. Another point is that when coaches refer coaches, they'd go straight into their Team if it was automated.
For the future, we've got a couple of ideas as to how best move forward with this process. One idea we had looked at was that when a coach referred a player, it would create a connection request, so all the coach has to do is accept it. Another was prompt someone to connect once they've logged in for the first time after being referred.
We'll of course be keeping all our users up to speed with releases but having feedback like this is incredibly valuable as it allows us to build the best possible version of Clippd!
