Another question: I have a couple holes where I picked up and did not finish. I tried adding penalties to the last shot on the hole in Arccos but that didn't seem to work. How should I handle those so that the last shot on the incomplete hole isn't treated as a hole-in?
Got a question? Let us know

Thanks @Josh! I now see the round again.

@jlcbean
Perfect!
If you're using Arccos to enter data, I don't believe they have a 'pick up' option so it's either finish the hole or remove the entire hole from entry. Hopefully that makes sense!

@Josh Yes, all good! Haven't had the chance to play yet, since we got a snowstorm so waiting on that to melt but then I'll be out there. I'll have to see what works best on recording data. It seems the phone is the best to use for all of the enhanced data but the printable scorecards are much nicer so you don't have to have your phone out on every shot or play with it in your pocket. Obviously it's tough to get all of the data on the printable scorecard but there's always the walk between holes to enhance the information. Thanks!

A snowstorm! The weather here in the UK hasn't been great but it's not got that bad...yet!
We're always looking at ways in which we can improve the ease with which data is entered into the platform, if you find anything that is particularly helpful or you think would be a good idea, just let us know! -
I was playing around with creating my own scorecard but I think there’s just so many variables from each shot and situation to include everything. I think once I’m familiar with what types of information/data needs to be input for each shot type and situation it will make it easy just to jot things down in a notepad for each shot. I’ll see how it goes! -
@Dan how do I add a 9 hole round?
-
how do i edit the shots on a hole within a round that ive already entered. i enetered my first round on capture yesterday and see a mistake. namely instead of putting a 40 foot putt to one foot and making that, it appears that i enteres that i missed a 1 footer by 40 feet and then made the 40 footer. How would i correct that? Thanks

@cshank622
Thanks for asking!
You can play and enter as many holes as you like. Even if you just go out in an evening for five, you can record the shots you hit and have the data pulled through to Clippd. -
@bbanksp1
Firstly, make sure you're in Clippd Capture and not the main Clippd App. Find the activity and tap the three dots, scroll down and tap Edit Shots. Find the shot you wish to edit and delete. If you hit any shots after the one that needs changing, delete them by clicking the trash icon.. Edit the incorrect shot then re-add the deleted ones back in. Once done, click Save Round.
Hopefully the above makes sense but if not, here's our guide that talks you through the process as well.

@Dan I have a couple of questions
1.) when we look at our strokes gained stats, is that relative to the level of player comparison that we have chosen? Or is it based on pga averages?
2.) would it be possible to have a lie option called “woods” or “forest”? I see there’s a pine straw option but I play a lot of courses that have trees and woods in between that aren’t necessarily hazard areas but sometimes it’s necessary to punch out from there or try and play from there.
thanks!
