@Dan hi Dan - under activities, I see you can filter by simulator rounds but I do not see how to log a simulator round — am I missing something?

@aeis
Thanks for posting!
To enter a simulator round you use Clippd Capture to enter the shots you're hitting. When you open up Clippd Capture, make sure you take the latest update (you'll be prompted by a pop up).
In Capture, Click Add Round, find the course you're playing and then when you're entering round details, scroll down and you'll see the option to select Is this a Simulator Round? as per the image below. Choose yes and you'll be able to set up the round.
I hope that helps but any questions let me know!

Hi @Josh,
I played a round yesterday (March 7) and had a shot that would not refresh from Arccos even this morning. I deleted the round, but it's not returning after syncing with Arccos again. Is there any way to restore the round and perform the update from Arccos? Thanks! -
@jlcbean
Apologies for the delay! I will speak with the team and get back to you.
For the future, when you need to change a shot from an Arccos round, edit it in Arccos. Then, head back to Clippd, find the round in question, click the three dots and hit Edit. You'll then see a button labelled Refresh shots from data source, click this and the new data will pull through.
Here's our guide for extra clarification https://community.clippd.com/threads...ghlight=arccos -
@jlcbean
The team have let me know that the round should now be showing in your account again.
Let me know if there's any problems! -
@Dan I was just curious what the best workflow is for entering data if you aren’t using arccos? I was walking my round today and it felt sort of distracting to have the phone out on every shot to record data. Does anyone just keep notes on a notepad and then add the data in after the round? It seems maybe that would be a bit faster than pulling the phone out of your bag each shot. Especially on the green. Anyway. I was just curious what others might be doing or what the best workflow is. Thanks!

@kocherspaniel Hi there. We have a printable scorecard for exactly this reason. My suggestion is to print out and fold a bunch of these and put them in a scorecard holder in your bag. Here’s the link: https://community.clippd.com/threads...ull=1#post1366

@Dan amazing, thank you!
one other question: I was playing a casual round today and we can’t post scores yet in my state because of weather so we weren’t really playing by the most official rules. I hit my second shot out to the right and it got lost in some leaves just inside the woods. I tried to record my second shot as lost ball but the app wouldn’t then let me proceed and record that I took a drop and was hitting my 4th shot after taking the penalty. Maybe I missed something since it was my first time using the app but how does this work? I ended up not recording the round which isn’t a big deal but just wondering how to go about this. Thanks!Last edited by kocherspaniel; 18-03-24 at 11:34. Reason: Additional question

@kocherspaniel @Dan
disregard! I realized I didn’t scroll down far enough to enter “what did you do next” information. I knew it was a user error 🤦♂️ -
@kocherspaniel
Just checking, you're all good? Hopefully it's sorted now but you know where we are if you need any more help!
I hope you're enjoying using Clippd so far and getting plenty of golf in!!
