Great question.

We're currently working on including a pick up option in Clippd Capture. This means that the shots you've hit before 'picking up' will be calculated for Shot Quality and your Player Quality for that round. We will let everyone know when that release is made.

In the meantime, the best workaround would be to not enter data for the hole you picked up on and simply save the round with the holes you did complete full.

@Dan New to clippd (here via Arccos partnership announcement) and love the data insights.

Is there a way to change a shot type to a recovery shot? I noticed on my last round that a shot was scored low that in fact was a pretty good recovery shot due to having the "work" the ball from a blocked second shot to a few yards in front of the green in the fairway from which I was able to get up\down for the par. I understand driving to a recovery position would reduce the drive quality as well. This was imported data from Arccos.

Just hoping for a way to adjust the type of shot.

Thanks for reaching out and great to hear you're really enjoying Clippd.

We use the data given to us from Arccos to calculate whether your shot was a recovery or not. In this case, even though you had to manufacture a brilliant shot, you were almost able to reach the green and hit a club that, based on historic distances was able to reach the green. Therefore it's not classified as a recovery.

Hopefully that makes sense and you're right on the impact a recovery shot would have on the previous one that put you there.

Hello All,

I have a question. By mistake I deleted one of my round on Clippd. I tried many times to reload it from "Refresh Arccos Data" but this round never reappeared. I try to disconnect and reconnect my Arccos account but still the same this missing round did not appear.

Can you help me ?

We have been able to recover the Arccos rounds for you. If you ever need to make a change to an Arccos round in the future, edit it in Arccos first and then ‘Refresh Shots From Data Source’. Here’s our guide on how to do that - How to edit an Arccos round.

When trying to add a custom club it says to enter a valid input in the reference number field. If I type it in or use the arrows same issue.

When I signed up on my phone (android) in order to enter my birthdate which is required I had to swipe back from today all the way back. The interface should be updated with drop downs to select month, day and years. It will be a lot easier and more inline with other apps that ask for dates.
