One shot that always sticks in the memory is Tiger's 2nd shot on the Par 5, 14th hole, at St Andrew's in 2000. I believe it was in the 3rd round and he striped a 3-wood from near 300 yards to carry it more or less on to the green. The ball had no sooner left the club face when he turned to Steve Williams and uttered the immortal line 'that the one you're talking about'?

@Marcus Embarrassingly clean forgot that one! He made golf look very easy those couple of years.

I just LOVE The OPEN and every shot! I couldn't rank them..all the history...so amazing! I purposely teach and a links style golf course due to the influence The OPEN has had on me..I love the wind and weather and firm and fast conditions..playing the ground game and having to control the golf ball is a true test to one's game and training..

That's where the money is won.. We golfers from the other side of the pond are not used to putting from off the greens (perhaps) as fsar as 30-40 yards or the length of putts many will have..
I love it!! TRUE test of golf!
