As Clippd grows it footprint across the globe, this is a good time to share that eight of the 41 PGA of America Sections have entered into partner agreements with Clippd. USPGA Senior Member Professional
    John Boykin reports

From its entrance into the US golf market Clippd has, with the help of some US team members, worked strategically and tirelessly to organically grow relationships with the top instructors/coaches, top tier college golf teams and leading academies. Those efforts have produced some remarkable results.

Numerous Golf Digest and Golf Magazine top-100 coaches have embraced Clippd and have been part of the beta testing of the platform. Additionally, arguably the leading golf learning facility in America, the Sea Island Performance Center, located at Sea Island Resort in Georgia, was an early adopter of Clippd. One major men’s college golf program that competed for the 2022 NCAA National Tournament after being co-winners of their region, also has its entire team using Clippd.

The next step for Clippd was to continue this grass roots campaign of engaging with more coaches by reaching them through their PGA Section. Eight of the 41 US PGA sections were approached to consider a Clippd PGA Section Partnership. It is with great pride that I share all eight were delighted to partner with Clippd for 2022.

The Clippd London team conducted virtual demos for the leadership of the Sections and during the 2022 PGA Merchandise Show those same leadership folks attended what has been described as a historic meeting with Clippd in Orlando. Following that meeting partnership agreements between the eight US PGA Sections and Clippd were executed and the process of reaching the PGA members and associates in those Sections has begun.

Underway are both virtual webinars and in-person meetings with all of the Sections. These will serve as education programs for the PGA members and associates and result in MSRs (Member Service Requirements points) toward PGA member required recertification.

More importantly, as we have witnessed already, the benefits of Clippd have captured the interest and intrigue of those PGA members and associates that have participated in these education sessions. Further evidence that technology has entered into every phase of our lives, including golf. Clippd’s easy-to-understand platform and 360-degree view of a player’s game provide valuable tools that are unlike anything in the market.

The universal engagement by these eight US PGA Sections and the follow up conversations I have had with members across the country continue to validate the belief that Clippd is a game changer. The mantra at Clippd is golfers “get better faster”. The endorsement by these eight Sections and the many members engaging as a result, I have never been prouder to be a US PGA member and honoured to serve as Clippd’s US Senior PGA Member Professional.
