- England's Sam Bairstow finished a strong T4 in the South African Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Sam, who lifted the Brabazon Trophy last year for winning the England Amateur Strokeplay Championship (and also qualified for the Open Championship at Royal St George's), was 22 under par after rounds of 69, 67, 65, 65 at Randpark Golf Club. He is now ranked 16th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
- Connor Howe was part of the victorious Georgia Tech Men's Team at the Watersound Invitational at Shark's Tooth GC in Florida. Connor shot rounds of 70,71,73 to finish T13 in the individual standings as the Yellow Jackets recorded a wire-to-wire, five-shot win in the team event, their third victory of the 2021-22 season.
- Playing for the University of Louisiana Monroe Women's Golf Team, Austria's Chantal Dueringer recorded another top-10 finish at the Tchefuncta Collegiate Invitational. Rounds of 77, 75, 73 were enough to secure the Junior a T9.
- At Royal Cape Golf Club in South Africa, Ben Evans and Jonathan "Jigger" Thomson both made the cut in the Bain's Whisky Cape Town Open, the second event on the 2022 Challenge Tour schedule.
- On the Clutch Pro Tour, Michael Bullen rounded off his campaign in the Gloria Super Series in Turkey with a T5 finish, after shooting a fine opening 66 to be joint first-round leader.
- Congratulations to Arjun Puri, who recently turned pro after representing the Columbia University Men's Golf Team. Arjun is now competing on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGIT). We wish him all the best in this next stage of his career.
- A belated congratulations to Daniel Gray, Senior Instructor and Player Development Coach at the Sea Island Golf Performance Center, who was named 2021 Georgia PGA Section Coach of the Year. In the words of the Georgia PGA, this award honours "outstanding teachers among the ranks of the PGA of America membership" and is based on performance in teaching, innovative and special teaching programs the professional has played a key role in implementing, and articles written in books and magazines.
