Absolutely! Hearing that Matt has tracked most variables on every shot since he was a junior golfer is pretty mind blowing. I think it shows the value of knowing your game and tendencies, and being able to capitalize on them.

Matt was in an England squad I coached, even at 15 years old he was already logging everything he did. He's a quite remarkable human being, no stone is left unturned in his quest to improve. An incredible advert for evidence based development and coaching.

@hugh.marr Sunday night must've been fantastic viewing for you Hugh! Was he by far and away the only one doing it in that squad?

They were all doing it to some extent, it was part of the structure we put in place. Matt was by far the most enthusiastic adopter!
